Some Brazos County roads still closed after Thursday’s severe storm

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Several roads in Brazos County are still closed after Thursday’s severe thunderstorm brought flash flooding and strong winds.

Brazos County Emergency Management Coordinator Michele Meade joined News 3 at Six to discuss how the storms have impacted the area. Watch the full interview in the player above.

Crews are still out surveying roads for damage but the following are closed, according to Brazos County officials:

  • Grassbur at the bridges just past 1179
  • Rock Prairie at Lick Creek
  • Peach Creek at Sulphur Springs
  • Dilly Shaw Tap at Wixon Creek
  • South Dowling Road between Koppe Bridge Road and I&GN Road

People are asked to report storm damages to the Texas Department of Emergency Management through its damage survey.
