A New York City idiot who got soup dumped on him after he decided it was a good idea to go on a racist rant on the L train in New York City says he was “making a point” and that he is “not that sorry.”
Video of the incident showed the man, identified as Paul Lawson, screaming and singing and dancing the word “nigger” as he also sings “First Amendment, First Amendment,” over and over again.
“I talk shit because I know I can! I’m a lawyer! I went to NYU Law! Fuck you!” he continued on in his rant.
Let’s also just make note that this charming specimen probably never even set foot on the New York University campus, let alone attended school there. A spokesperson from the school says that there is no record of Lawson ever attending. By Tuesday morning, Lawson had erased mention of his apparent distinction from his Facebook page.
Of course, New Yorkers are never ones to take shit, so a group from the train unceremoniously shoved Lawson off the train at the next stop. When he kept attempting to reboard the train, a woman decided to throw her soup at him.
In an interview with The Gothamist, the 29-year-old Lawson said that he was “making a point” when he started shouting slurs on the L train on Saturday while holding a Lime-a-Rita, insisting that he is “not that sorry.”
On Wednesday morning, Harlem rapper Princess Nokia proudly took credit for the soup toss at Lawson.
“And yes I threw hot soup in this mans face,” the 25-year-old, whose real name is Destiny Frasqueri, tweeted. “Any other racists wanna try us again?”
It was such a shame that Frasqueri was forced to waste good soup on an asshole, but sometimes you gotta fight the good fight.
The rapper told her version of what happened on the train, saying that Lawson called a group of teenage boys “niggers,” causing her to stand up and slap him.
As for Lawson’s “making a point,” The Gothamist came prepared with screenshots from Lawson’s Facebook, where he initially wrote, “getting help and really don’t know how it came up in the first place and if it makes you feel any better I had my head broke open the next day so there’s that.”
As Lawson continued to draw criticism from several commenters, he then continued, “not that sorry I feel bad I used that word but I was making a point, lots of comedians do that; it’s the first fucking ammendment [sic] and look at the liberal mob beating up the peaceful protester now fucking losers.”
And then this Chad, probably the Chadiest of Chads, went on to say that he was a “race-baiter in this context, not a racist,” adding that he “enjoys getting a rise out of people.”
There’s not much else to say at this point because this guy is clearly beyond help. I just hope Princess Nokia’s soup wasn’t particularly delicious. Seems like it would be a waste to even spare an ounce on this loser.
