Highlights: The Tide overcame a 3-0 deficit by scoring five runs in the top of the fourth on a bases loaded walk by Alex Turant, and two-run singles by Coffey and Chrabolowski. Spaulding tied the game in the bottom of the fourth, but Chrabolowski hit an RBI triple and scored the game-winning run off an error when Brett McDonough put the ball in play in sixth inning. Concord has two games remaining in the regular season that concludes this week.

Highlights: The Generals jumped out early in the first, highlighted by Paolicelli’s three-run homer. Paolicelli and Williams were near perfect on the mound for Stark, as the offense pushed four runs across in the sixth to give John Stark the mercy rule victory.

Highlights: Stewart pitched a complete game, and the Spartans scored three runs in the second inning and three more in the sixth to shutout the Eagles. Four Pembroke players had multiple hits as the Spartans outhit Kennett, 13-3.

Hopkinton 6, Hillsboro-Deering 5

Highlights: The Hillcats scored four runs in the third inning to go up 4-1, but the Hawks gradually chipped away at H-D’s lead, and Pantano’s RBI single plated Sawyer Zipke for the game-winning run in the top of the seventh.

But throughout the game it took a true team effort on both offense and defense with everyone contributing in some way. Bishop Brady 4, Raymond 3

Key players: Bishop Brady – Sophia Collie, Abby Tyrell, Payton Bryson, Kimble Rose, Caleigh Roach, Claire Jackson

Highlights: Down two runs in the bottom of the seventh, Brady was able to score two runs for the walk-off victory. Collie had the big hit in the bottom of seventh to start the rally. Roach took over on the bases for her and eventually scored to tie the game. Wagner got on based and scored on a Rose sacrifice fly to right. Tyrell, Bryson and Jackson all had big hits throughout the game, while Tyrell and Bryson combined to strikeout eight from the circle.

Highlights: The Hawks led 3-2 after the first inning and scored four more runs in the third to make it 7-2. Hopkinton scored five runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by a Boudette grand slam, bringing the Hawks’ lead to 13-2. Hopkinton had 20 hits as a team.

Coach’s quote: “As we approach the end of the season it is good to get this win and get to 7-7. Hillsboro has a lot of solid hitters and our defense had to be ready to make the plays all of their batters. Steph and Ally did a great job today using more of the strike zone. Campbell 7, Bow 3

Key players: Bow – Jake Antuna (10-for-13 on faceoffs), Brodie O’Neil (goal), Billy Smethurst (goal), Niko Mallios (goal)

Highlights: Campbell took an early 4-1 lead and held on for the win. The Falcons’ defense played a shutout third quarter and both goalies played well in a defensive battle.

Pelham 7, Hopkinton 6

Key players: Hopkinton – Patty Buss (3 goals, assist), Merrick Chapin (goal, 3 assists), Shane Smith (2 goals), Avery Condon (4 ground balls, 6 caused turnovers), Cam Bassett (3 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers), Colby Boissy (8 saves)

Highlights: The game was tight all the way through, with a score of 1-1 after the first quarter, 3-3 at halftime and 5-4 after the third. Hopkinton rallied late to tie it 6-6, but a costly turnover set Pelham up for a goal with just four seconds left in regulation. Both teams worked hard and kept it clean, with a total of only five penalties.

Highlights: Both teams traded goals in the first quarter before the Hawks outscored the Pythons 12-1 in the second and third quarters to put the game out of reach. Westover secured 19 draw controls and the Hawks’ offense, led by Chodosh, Westover and Owens, worked to solve excellent goaltending by Pelham’s Addie Breault.

Highlights: The Bears lost their final match of the regular season, but should get into the Division II postseason tournament with the No. 9 seed.

Records: Souhegan 8-6; Coe-Brown 5-8

Girls’ Tennis

Oyster River 8, Bow 1

Key players: Bow – Makaylie Laws and Maddy Desrosiers (8-6 loss at No. 2 doubles) 

Highlights: The Falcons dropped their final match of the regular season to the first-place and defending champion Bobcats, but had enough wins early in the season to qualify for the playoffs.
