Highlights: Oxbow struck early with nine runs in the top of the first inning, including a three-run homer by Eastman. Rosa, Bourgeois and Allen collect four hits on the day. Rosa would tallies two home runs of her own. Rosa also pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out seven in five innings.

Highlights: Hanover scored single runs in the first and seventh innings to take the win. The Bears’ defense secured the shutout. Lobb pitched the complete game for Hanover. She allowed five hits and one walk and had six strikeouts.

Highlights: Tenney was solid in left field. Clark was 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs on the day.

Highlights: Oyster River had 17 runs on eight hits and five errors. Lebanon had two hits and zero errors.

Baseball

Hanover 3, Milford 1

Key players: Hanover — Jake Toulmin, Allie Muirhead, Jojo Drent, Hayden Avard

Highlights: Hanover scored twice in the second when Muirhead led off the inning with a single, followed by a Jack Lobb sac bunt. Muirhead advanced to third on a balk before Sean Nam hit a hard ground ball to third and reached on an error, scoring Muirhead on the play. Nam then stole second, advanced to third on a throwing error and stole home two pitches later on a botched squeeze bunt that was thrown in the dirt. Toulmin started on the mound going six innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits with 10 strikeouts and six walks. The lefty also picked off four runners on the bases. The lone run came in the sixth inning. Hanover answered in the top of the seventh when Drent singled with two outs, stole second, advanced to third on a throwing error, and came home on an infield single by Muirhead.
