Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter received a grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to provide transitional shelter and supports to adults and children who are experiencing homelessness.

MATS received $10,000 from the Henry L. and Patricia J. Nielsen Fund, one of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s donor-advised funds. The grant will help further MATS’ mission of supporting families in transition as they regroup and address challenges, including access to medical care, job training, child care, counseling, budgeting and money management.
