Mitchell Trubisky tracker: Mentor QB efficient again

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Mitchell Trubisky connected on 6-of-8 passes, and the Chicago Bears held off the Arizona Cardinals on the road Saturday night in an NFL preseason game.

For Trubisky, the No. 2 overall pick from Mentor and the University of North Carolina, this marked his second professional game. He dazzled in the Bears' preseason-opening win.

On Saturday, he tossed an insurance touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of a 24-23 win at Arizona. The Cardinals scored late, but failed on their conversion attempt.

Trubisky finished with 60 yards passing. He found running back Benny Cunningham on a 6-yard TD pass early in the fourth for a 24-14 lead. Bears starter Mike Glennon completed 13-of-18 passes for 89 yards, a touchdown and an interception earlier in the night.
