Police provide update in death of Grammy-winning musician Mandisa

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - Police gave an update Monday on their investigation into the death of Grammy-winning musician and former American Idol contestant Mandisa Hundley.

Franklin Police said the 47-year-old was found dead inside a home on Thursday.

Police believe there is no indication of suspicious or criminal activity in her death.

“The Franklin Police Department sends its condolences to Hundley’s family, friends, and fans,” the department said.

The investigation is still ongoing.
